After a short break without shows, we are back!
We took this time off in order to concentrate our efforts on composing.
Don't worry it was worth it! Tomorrow, June 8th, we are going back in studio!!
We'll be working on our brand new single with John Nathaniel, a young sensation from Montreal.

We just booked an incredible show in an outstanding venue.
The Garlics will be opening for These Silent Waves on April 7th!
After a huge success in Quebec city with them, we decided to do it again, but in Montreal this time around.
You can buy a ticket to any of the band members or just buy it at the door for the same price, which is 12$.
We might use new lights effects you've never seen before! So you don't want to miss that do you?

HOUSEBAND - Finals
Hi everyone!
We have made it to the finals!!
Even though we placed second, the exposure was awesome and we really had a blast!
I never thought I'd be live on TV to be honest!
This was an incredible experience for us and I think we grew up stronger as a band too.

Hi guys!
Sooooo... Last Saturday was AMAZING! Being on the set of this contest felt great! We definitely did a good job out there.
We performed « Masquerade » as our cover and I think the filming crew liked it !
Tomorrow, we're going to finish our next single (we hope !) which will be available near march or april!

THE GARLICS ON YOUR TV SCREEN
Hey world,
We have great great news! The Garlics will participate in a musical contest called Houseband on Musique Plus channel!!! (Channel 30 for you ancestors who don't have satellite tv yet) If you are cool enough to VOTE FOR US when we'll say so, we could be on your screen for 8 weeks! We'll compete among 7 other great bands in three different challenges:
Cover: They've picked a song for us and we'll have to do a remake, but the Garlic's way ;)
Improvisation: We'll have to improvise on the spot whatever style they choose. (Can you imagine bluegrass coming out of my bass guitar? NOT)
Original song: Hell yes we can play, but can we write some songs?
The most wonderful thing about this contest is that YOU ARE THE JUDGES! And since we have the best fans out there, we'll be on your screen for a long long time ;)

Hello people,
After two months spent in the studio working hard on our second album, we're going to take a little break and enjoy ourselves in this big venue in Québec city. We are really thrilled about this show because we ain't alone on this one. Arcania Fades will start things off. Then, it's our turn to shine. Later on, These Silent Waves will be up next releasing their brand new videoclip "Keep It Up". I know you don't want to miss that. My mother is going to be there and so do you.

The Garlics on France’s number one radio station: NRJ Rock
The youthful formation of The Garlics have begun to make the impact since they released their first single off of their debut album in France three weeks ago, which will be released in its entirety at the end of 2010.
The band, originating from the northern shore of Montreal, is composed of four musicians who just recently attained the age of 17. May sings the main vocals and plays rhythm guitar, with JF dominates the drums, while also being a violinist and guitarist. Will is the bassist and Oli is on guitar. Each of them is a songwriter and they all participate in the arrangement of their compositions.
Extremely talented and bursting with ambition, The Garlics won second place at the prestigious contest Exposure Live after only 5weeks since they joined forces. Still, they managed to out-perform many other bands to end up part of the 60selected ones. For the part 8months, they have remained in the top 5 on the site http://www.undergroundmusix.com, and after only 5 weeks on http://www.jango.com, they reach the 1,000-fans mark, while over 5,000 people have written to express their love for the sound and voice of The Garlics.

Amazing performance at Butte St-Jacques
On September 26th, The Garlics opened for the band NEM at the venue La Butte St-Jacques in the Old Montreal. It really was a great show and the band had a real connection with the audience. People were excited about the new songs played by the Garlics and also by great singles such as Sting Of A Dart. The four members showed an intense presence on stage and gave us a memorable concert!
The Garlics at La Relève de Thetford Mines festival
On Saturday, August 22nd, The Garlics participated at the large event, “Le Festival Promutuel de la Relève de Thetford Mines.” The festival featured performances by KAMAKAZI, EXTERIO, and DJ Champion. The Garlics was present for the “Clic ton band” CHOI Radio X night on the Canatal Industries stage, where they shared their passion for rock music with other finalists of the big Quebec contest “Clictonband.” This exposure allowed music fans to discover new bands and artists in the region’s underground scene. The Garlics thanks everybody who joined them at this fun-filled event!
Four new singles to discover!
The emerging Montreal band, The Garlics, have released four new singles, which fans have been eagerly waiting for, and the titles are Going Down, Feel Alive, Blame It All On You, and Sting of a Dart.
